Tomorrow will be the 3rd time I will have been there in 4 days. A bit much, don't you think?
Today, we had our video conference with the IWK. They didn't bother going over the basics with us as they consider us "well aware" of x-linked conditions and our basic situation when it comes to genetics - there is a 1 in 2 chance of a boy having NDI.
That said, we did get some interesting information about the testing that will be done (and the different times that we can have it done) and some valuable information about having Isabel tested and what can be done for the two of us (if she is a carrier) in cases where our being manifesting carriers may be of concern. Very informative hour.
Tomorrow, I go for another ultrasound to peek in on the little monkey - see what he is up to. The perinatologist just wanted to keep an eye on my fluid levels and the size of the baby, given the complications that arose last time.
Cross your fingers for pictures (but don't get too hopeful because I didn't get any after the first couple of ultrasounds with Dr. Butt when I was pregnant with Isabel).

Well, crossing my fingers, although I certainly realize that it is a manageable condition, and whatever happens you will deal with it in the cool headed and intelligent manner in which you both--you three, seem to handle most things. Much love.
