*PHEW*

It has been a while, but with good reason. First, and most obviously, we moved. As I am sure many of you know, that is a crazy time in and of itself. Add to that the fact that our internet/phone provider cut us off 5 days before we wanted them to and we've been disconnected from everyone and everything for about a week now.

Not a whole lot to report. Symptoms are pretty much the same with regard to the pregnancy...ever-expanding tummy, random wriggling on the inside, fatigue, constant hunger. The last one seems to amuse people around me because I refer to the babe as "The Parasite". I am quite sure that this is what having a tapeworm is like. What really cracks me up though is the initial look of shock or horror on so many people's faces. Those who share my sense of humour are amused and roll with it. Those who don't seem to have a really hard time wrapping their brains around it.

In other news, what is amusing me most lately is the awkward belly glance, but distinct attempt to not acknowledge the belly on the part of those I meet places. It is big enough now that it is noticeable, not to mention the fact that I am having to wear some maternity clothes because some of my other stuff is really uncomfortable. So I will see people for the first time in a while and, as they are talking to me, I will notice a couple of quick glances at the belly. Then you can hear the wheels turning as they process it all and the unease as they decide whether to say something or not. I have yet to have anyone ask out of the blue, so I am obviously not at the point where people are confident, so they just awkwardly attempt to avoid glancing down again throughout the conversation. I think though that I am beginning to grin about the time their eyes return to my face after the first glance down, so I may be giving myself away soon. Hehehe.

Alright, I have a bunch of errands to run today, but here are pics of the big move to tie you over until I post again (sorry to those not on Facebook).
